About Me!

My name is Paulina Angus, and I want to welcome you to my website. I started teaching 5th grade in 2014, and I have been ever since. I grew up right in Westbrook and graduated from Westbrook High School. I also completed three years at the Westbrook Regional Vocational Center in the Early Childhood Occupations Education program. Those three years were where my love for teaching blossomed. I continued my education at the University of Southern Maine. There I earned my Bachelor’s of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Master’s of Science in Education.

Five years ago, I moved to Buxton with my husband. We now have a daughter and son. In my spare time, I love hiking, reading, going to the beach and spending time with my family as well as our three rescue dogs: Mack, Otto and Dewey!

I am very much looking forward to this school year! A big focus in my classroom is having students learn meaningful topics while hitting the standards and then presenting their learning through engaging, authentic projects. I work very hard to promote a positive mindset as well as the importance of kindness.
