Step up Day Letter

HELLO!

My name is Mrs. Sparrow, and I am so excited to be your fifth grade teacher!  It’s going to be a great year full of new freinds, adventures, and discoveries.  There are so many fun opportunities for fifth graders.

 

IN THIS  CLASSROOM...

You are part of a team.  Your thoughts, ideas, and actions are importent.  Each one of you has talents and strengths, and I cannot wait for you to share them with your classmates.  You will add so much to our class and I am eager to learn more about you!

  • Things to do: bake, sew, boat on Sebago Lake, and take long walks

Welcome to 5th grade!  This coming fall you will begin your last year of elementary school!  Are you ready?

5th graders should be able to:

  • Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and be Safe
  • Listen Well
  • Follow directions the first time
  • Be Responsible for themselves
  • Use appropriate behavior and language
  • Take care of belongings
  • Read of minimum of 25 minutes each day
  • Know the multiplication tables 0-12

  • Learn your multiplication times tables
  • Have fun and enjoy the outdoors
