Essential Questions:  How can artists work together to create a work of art that conveys an idea or message?

Standards/PIs: MLR A1- Disciplinary Literacy: Students explain purposes of making art in different times and places and relationship art has to cultural traditions, personal expression, and communicating beliefs

MLR B2- Creating, Performance, Expression: Students use Elements of Art and Principles of Design to create original works of art.

MLR- B3-Creating, Performance, Expression: Students create artwork that communicates ideas, feelings, and meanings and demonstrate skill in the use of media, tools, techniques, and processes 

Student Assignments: 

All School Group Mural- “We are Manchester”

Students will collaboratively create a mural conveying the positive qualities of Manchester students.
