Mrs. Sanborn's Class

Welcome to our class webpage and welcome to Manchester! I am excited to start a new school year. I am looking forward to getting to know my new students and settling into a routine.

 

I have been teaching at Manchester School now for 17 years. I love teaching at Manchester School and I think you will love it here, too! I have my Masters degree from the University of Southern Maine and my undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire. I live in Standish, although it feels like Windham, since I live just over the town line. My family, which includes my husband, myself, my 18 year old son, Colby, and my 20 year old son, Nick, love living so close to the Windham Community. Colby recently graduated from Bonny Eagle High School and Westbrook Vocational School and is currently working in the trades.  Nick is a junior at the University of Maine Machias. 

 

Our family enjoys camping. We have a travel trailer so we can visit different campgrounds in Maine and New Hampshire and we also like spending time at my family's camp on Sebec Lake. It has been in the family for over 100 years! When we are not camping or at camp, we like to golf, explore the lakes and the coast of Maine, and spend time with our 2 cats, Lola and Marbles. I also like to read and spend valuable time with my family.
