how does kindness contribute to happiness that's a question that over 40 students including me at Wonder Manchester school have been trying to answer over the school year to help answer this question you better not go back in October then we went on a field trip to go see in theaters Dunellen movie is named wonder by the author RJ Palacio the movies main theme is about kindness and friendship and has inspired many of the Ted Talk that you are about to see without further Ado allow me to present our kindness Ted Talk compilation beginning with the poem a time to talk by Robert Frost enjoy the show and we hope you walk away with the inspiration to be kind to others a timer a poem by Robert Frost when a friend calls me from the road and sold his horse to a meeting wall stand still and look then she would spread them around search for others to find this turn into kindness rock project and it's happening all around the country to bring us and so we could participate in French Old Orchard Beach people picking them up and look on my face was priceless the feeling of making people happy and being kind it is amazing it's really fun to pay never inspiring quotes and I think you should comfort them you need to comfort them if you be nice to people with you than other people would be when I see you that is empathy I believe the world will be a better place if empathy was Sean Maher kindness is everywhere it's in you you can do anything trust yourself kindness is everywhere give you a time will the door help with teacher Beauty inspiring make a difference it starts with you and if you can do anything trust yourself you'll get there and remember it starts with you it starts with you we made this problem because wanted to inspire others there so many bad things like around in this world and we want to change that so do your part in the world and change it one by one what takes is One Kinect and one compliment it's the right thing to do and the number the world needs you so choose kind not because you have to talk to you soon as you can today I'm going to be talking about the power of a smile my phone is called smile it's not yesterday or tomorrow it's today so make a great dress up with a smile even if it is raining bring your smile out the day beautiful because your smile can dress up the world I wonder why people do this something so wrong so evil this must stop forecast today for the reach the limit stop the sinking that's okay too but we look out for each other treat them as equal try your best and don't pretend you can make friends make friends choose kind I like people who smile when it's raining everybody knows that being happy is better than being sad isn't that what we all waiting for is okay to be sad just not all the you do have to have a little rain to appreciate the Sun or rainbow but don't let the rain get you down you should always make the best out of a bad thing like a rainy day like oh I like people who smile when it's raining and I like people who make best set of a bad situation but there in just a bad thing right well only if you make it bad there is just a little bump in the road be the Sun that peaks in the other people's lives by sharing the smile your life always respected sponsible this is what the world should be however passed away like garbage just and out your hand to those in need all the door true knowledge and give love this contributes to happiness dreams come true poem the reason why I chose the sentence dreams come true cuz I think kind of community dream realized is it an iPod 3M to our star Vision a dream as a star star dreams shoot down if you think hard enough many dreams or stars come true seeing Stars dreams completing goals everybody Statham and it's asking hair even though some people are different shooting people with a smile and pretend real friendship can happen up and down kindness can be a dream realize everyday remember this smile at the star star dream so too kind and have a voice one smile remind Ted Talk I decide to make a golden shovel poem which is a pain that takes another part of her phone and use it in a poem Michael and shovel poem is about being a friend I got a friend of home just one you can be the one make another smile you can be the one that begins very meaningful friendship the solution to always being a kind person is to be a friend and always be kind because bullying is a big problem in the USA don't bully thank you for listening to my TED Talk I have a best friend and she is the best mine is better mine is way better what traits make your best friend better she is so smart she's always super funny she's always coming up with the best idea she sometimes needs help but she's a wonderful Rider she always makes me happy still making mine is better what you did think so actually yes yes I do know no way when I say three you say you're wonderful friends me 1 2 3 you the person that I was talking about and you were the one that I was. I am grateful for my friends because they are kind to me and they make me happy if you are kind of someone there more like you because someone else make someone's day and make them happy become their friends show the max of kindness make the world a better place she's good friends and sprinkler everywhere because the world needs it the world needs you because friendship is golden I'm doing a song called believer Imagine Dragons this without February 2017 never since the song came out I felt pumped and I felt like easier to come there like taking tests like I used to be frustrated and mad when I heard the song it helped me a lot, down and now I can feel free first things first I'm going to say all the words inside my head I'm tired and fire the ways to die the ways a Bentley second things going to hear it too and happiness comes and then it's going to be passed on you should be thankful that because if we didn't have this the word would be sad and lonely miss you should never give up when you're mad just keep on going and then you'll be done and we always need to be strong and never give up I also chose the song because how to speak to others and how to make them happy and friend was on the other side the boy looks confused as he found his friend his friend her at last you can see the boys friend has always been the same let's stop bullying why do people bully we don't know we want to find out if we don't stop talking to each other we don't want that have you ever been bullied and it hurts so help us stop bullying was April we're not okay with this world so how was fix it he stop bullying this world will be convinced that helps boys let's make the world better place one person at a time why do you hurt me what did I do is it because I'm smaller than you you make me shout and always cry why won't you please just tell me why you always think you're really cool you're just a fool I know that you're jealous of me by will you please just leave me be today I'm radio called boy Lee Brice wrote the song for his two sons in the song his virtue kindness by describing the type of father he wants to be and how he will always think of his sons as his the song in the lot of other music that focuses on kindness can bring happiness to the people who connect to the music when I heard the words to this song it made me feel happy because it's similar the relationship I have with my dad and no matter what happens in life I will always be important to my dad I think that when people listen to music they should focus on the words and how they are said bullying did you know 5.2 million kids each year get bullied in the US where you can make a stop with the powering you stand up to them take a stand there are many ways to describe how much harm and how much words could help others do you want to be a victim of bullying don't try to be Queen bully others don't influence be a friend not a bully make the world a better place and make it stop you can make me friend if you did try not in anime thank you my poem and Life For Me ain't been no crystal stair everyone should be treated with respect and kindness not by blank salmonella it's an adult should have a long life and not have to die but little boy I don't like when people get boy the kids who of which stand up to the boy and say when your boy made it really hurts my feet I don't want to go to school everyday because your aunt and kind to me so please stop playing me I've been deleted before and no one's like an English do you know how to anyone else you will not be getting a metal or a crystal or boring me and you are not let me climb to the top of that next day this pain reminds us that life isn't easy anyone there are boys no one can climb the stairs when they are being bullied make them feel a lot better kindness is a big partner world and just smiling at somebody with her and her whole day around the march of kindness today I will be talking about how the March on Washington was to promote happiness and kindness and how it changed lives on August 28th nineteen 63 / 250,000 people had a March on Washington but it was a peaceful day and I'd only because it was warm but because blacks were fighting for equal equal rights this was historic event that will be remembered forever because it made a difference then why aren't you was an act of kindness because now blacks and whites can live peacefully together and show kindness towards one another it was because of my Luther King jr. speech where he said I have a dream this game was about all people being able to live a happy life is Martin Luther King jr. was alive I would be thanking him and six other leaders Civil Rights Movement for all the kind things they did and ending segregation this leadership and kindness how to make the world a better place as a future of this nation is turn on what Martin Luther King jr. and make it happen it doesn't end with history we can keep it alive by saying kind words having empathy for others and giving a helping hand to all people in need of all colors X is the best the best the kind of what time is it in the powerful feeling happiness can be stronger another just remember you are not alone anytime you need a friend I will be here well kind of contributes to happiness when you stand by someone's side don't give up on them and accept them as they are don't let people be a shadow your friend who lives another spirit my day our days are filled with kindness kindness happiness makes the world go round anger makes the world breakdown but if we we can build it back up again with a little more help and just a little more kindness can make the world a better place so let's make a difference and together we can make a change a good change happy change to change with kindness how does kindness contribute to happiness that is the question we've been trying to answer for the past year we've been doing so much research to answer that question we had so much fun things projects and hope you've enjoyed every over 5th grade year we have work done lots of kindness project deal with it so she Asians that contribute the kindness that environment the community even the world you didn't rock painting with kind messages and research on some organizations that contributes to kindness isn't it inspiring how so many organizations show kindness kind of happens all around the world helps make people happy just by lending a helping hand or showing someone kindness can make a big difference in someone's life the kids in this video have research organizations that show kindness to other people like Make-A-Wish Foundation USAA Toys for Tots Barbara Bush Children's Hospital it takes to msspa the Red Cross their Goodwill Samantha Smith and many many more we can aspiring because it makes us want to show kindness like some of the organizations we mentioned our classes decide to make this video because we want other people not just our community the whole world to know what kind it is so important to us and everyone in the world just think how great the world would be if we show a little more kindness on the poster behind us there three forms for answering the driving question how does kindness contribute to happen beautiful poems. Poems and summer about the organization history search we want to make people happy and show kindness to the world that's why we didn't do that we all hope that our organization so which always do well and are successful because what they're doing is very remarkable and I-4 super good causes so I don't let the TED Talks you have heard that are about to hear our bathing our classes have worked very hard we thank you for taking the time to come listen to our talks of kindness it's so important to take time for it brings happiness something we all isn't it interesting how people hundreds of years ago did that we have the right to religious freedom freedom of speech equality and happiness 1776 the authors of the Dead liberation of Independence set that we have the right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness and that it is none alien Fulbright why do you think that increased happiness and why is happiness so important so how to make well my experience is that kind of creates happiness so how does kind of contribute to happiness will get back to this later we are the people that start spreads and our happiness we other people so much happiness by being kind to them we can be Time by carrying your stuff helping them across the street and gives you in the conversation between empathy and so much more money do this make those people who helped Happy when a human is happy if what is the effect on that person group of people community or even the whole wide world well I threw another one I'm happy I like doing things I mean productive like what I'm sending one of these days I just like sitting around being unproductive when people have businesses are happy Duncan only tend to get more customers who are happy then those customers go home and a happy hour it could go on forever that's how many people there are in the world needs a little bit of happiness after that so many people are happy isn't this the world that we all want to live in death of Ted Talk I hope that everyone now knows the golden life is happiness everyone feel to Chief their goals and better themselves right and when we do better ourselves be better the world I want happiness to my old time feeling don't know if you want happiness for your old time feeling if we do what is happiness we can start at 5 simple smile and being kind it's not that hard like the authors of the Declaration of Independence said we have the right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness and that it's an unalienable right everyone should have it without fighting for it hi I was actually share an act of kindness a few months ago my mom suggested it was time to give away some books that I've already read in the past that live in them the neighborhood kids however I learned about as soon as my mom teaches that cancer came up with the idea of raising money for him and his cause this boy named Nolan was fighting but he was thinking about the other kids at the the Bush hospital fax in kindness and happiness to those kids so I made a poster 70 about my school though my books and ask for donations for a student donated a Dartmoor pick out a book to keep after 3 days I collected $150.00 at 20% noted with this check know that I want to say that your bravery Inspire others to be kind and brave and also glad to hear that you have one more battle
