I am Miss Fischer and I will be your teacher in fourth grade. We are going to learn so much while learning in some really fun ways! I would like to let you know a little bit about myself. I went to the University of Southern Maine in Gorham where I got my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies and my Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning. I began my teaching career here at Manchester School back in 2014 and have loved it ever since!
I am currently living in South Portland with my cats Griffin and Bansky, and my turtle Tommy. During my free time I enjoy watching movies, playing basketball, and reading books. During football season, I love sitting in front of the television cheering on my favorite football team--The Washington Redskins!
As a fourth grade class, we will discuss expectations and consequences; every expectation in our classroom comes down to the key concept of RESPECT--of ourselves and others. We will spend a lot of time this year talking about our team and working together. I am excited for you to be part of our team!
This is just a little bit about me but you will learn a lot more over the course of next year! I can’t wait to learn all about you as well!
